Exploring and Identifying Workplace Conflict  - Half day

All organizations experience some level of interpersonal friction and/or conflict. This course provides participants with a better understanding and awareness of the causes and components of everyday workplace tensions and conflict. Participants will set goals for better resolution of issues and overall personnel management.

Workplace Conflict: Gaining Insight and Making Changes - Full Day

This full-day course begins with an exploration of workplace tensions and conflict, and builds on that awareness by teaching participants new skills for resolving and managing interpersonal conflicts. Participants will learn techniques to reduce tensions, address issues, and improve communication. Attendees will evaluate the pros/cons of their own conflict management style using the Thomas-Kilman Instrument.

Option 1 = One (1) Full Day training session
Option 2* = Two (2) Half-Day training sessions*

Option 2 allows better integration of materials and should be utilized whenever possible.

For greatest benefit, these two sessions should be scheduled 2-15 days apart.

Cultural Awareness and Sensitivity Training - Half Day

Individual styles and personal differences can improve business and enhance creativity, but can also be the cause of issues and conflicts. This course provides participants with a better understanding of how cultural and other differences can lead to conflict. As awareness improves, sensitivity is enhanced, and cohesiveness can be re-captured.

Change Management – Keeping it Sane During Times of Change - Full Day

While change is an inherent part of any business, it is often met by resistance and strife. This workshop focuses on developing skills for managing change from planning to execution to recovery. All areas of change are explored including changes that affect an individual, a department, or the full organization.

Mediation Training – Developing an in-house Program - Multiple Days

4 Full Day sessions = Mediation Training
and
4 Half Day sessions = Focus on setting up program and implementing systems

This training is ideal for large employers who wish to better manage internal workplace conflict. Training will focus on developing mediation skills and will include practice exercises and role-play activities. Group size must be limited to 30 people or less.

Training Fees:

Half-Day training/workshops:  $1,400
Full-Day training/workshops:  $2,800
Full-Day training/workshop – “Gaining Insight and Making Changes”: $3,200*

*Additional fee includes use of TKI instrument and instructionExcept as otherwise noted, all fees quoted include training materials for up to 25 persons. Classes larger than 25 persons will require additional fees.

Prices are based on fee of $350/hour for training sessions and additional materials fees (as indicated) when using behavioral measurements.

Training Methods

All Workshops include use of lecture and discussion formats while incorporating independent and group activities. Where indicated, workshops will employ the use of role-play or behavioral measurements as an added tool in building awareness and understanding.
